Siteman Cancer Center is engaged in providing cancer treatment, research, prevention, education and community outreach. It offers specialized programs, such as bone marrow and stem cell transplantation, radiation therapy, clinical trials and clinical genetics assessment, among others. Siteman Cancer Center holds the Comprehensive Cancer Center designation from the National Cancer Institute and membership in the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. Its parent institutions are Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine. Siteman Cancer Center has collaborated with St. Louis Children's Hospital in providing cancer care to children.
