History
Opening a Polish Pottery store in 2012 was a dream come true for owner Katheryne Morschl. She first fell in love with Polish Pottery while her husband was stationed in Heidelberg, Germany with the US Army. Several times a year a group of ladies would take a chartered bus to Boleslawiec, Poland to purchase the pottery. During these trips she was able to meet the artists, see how the pottery was made, as well as shop! She quickly fell in love with it all. Since returning from Germany back to her home town of St. Louis, Missouri, she had been dreaming of opening a small store in the Historic St. Charles area selling this unique yet highly functional pottery. Finally, after 10 years of wishful planning, and a little push from her Polish grandmother, she took the leap and opened Siostra.
