Sandy Hagene, FNP, is a board-certified family medicine nurse practitioner who sees infants (starting at 12 months), teens and adults. She provides primary and preventative care, such as annual wellness exams, well-woman visits, DOT physicals, vaccinations and manages acute and chronic illnesses. She treats a wide range of conditions, including asthma, allergies, diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, minor injuries, cold and flu symptoms and osteoporosis. Sandy is committed to creating an open and welcoming atmosphere where patients can feel comfortable sharing their health issues or concerns. Her healthcare approach emphasizes promoting healthy choices tailored to each patient's lifestyle and activity level. She also believes that prevention is essential, and regular check-ups and screenings are crucial. Sandy finds it extremely gratifying to see patients' health improvements and enjoys helping them achieve their health care goals. Sandy grew up in St. Louis County and enjoys living on several acres in rural Missouri. She enjoys cycling, kayaking, hiking and spending time with her family. Sandy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, at the University of Missouri in St. Louis.
