Route 66 State Park, 97 N Outer Rd E, Eureka, MO 63025, US

Offering about 20 acres for fun and recreation, this is Eureka's largest city park. The park, just off Interstate-44, has two pavilions with electricity, grills, restrooms and an accessible trail connection to Route 66 State Park. It also contains a nine-hole disc golf course and a soft, synthetic-surfaced playground. The park serves as home certain times of the year to St. Louis Live Steamers' fully-functional, small-scale train. The city established Kircher Park with buyout money made available to it after the floods of 1993 and 1994. It is the namesake of former two-time Eureka mayor Leon Kircher. He held the post from 1963 to 1967 and 1973 to 1975.
