The City of Hazelwood Parks and Recreation manages 16 community parks. There are a combined total of 178.71 acres of park land. All parks are open daily from 5am - 9pm. A resident card is not required to use city parks, but a resident card is required to use recreation center facilities and services.
The Hazelwood Parks and Recreation Division maintains two recreation centers. Each facility has comprehensive event and banquet space including rental facilities. There is a senior citizen transportation service, one outdoor swimming pool, a fishing pond; an 18 hole disc golf course and a sports complex for team baseball and softball competition. The recreation center also hosts a wide variety of intramural and leisure activities for all ages, preschool through senior citizens.
