Christine Piper, MD
Christine C. Piper, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow conditions. She treats adolescents and adults ages 13 years and older. Dr. Piper earned her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her orthopedic surgery residency at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. She then completed a shoulder and elbow surgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Piper treats various conditions, including but not limited to shoulder arthritis, rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, frozen shoulder, acute fractures, nerve entrapment and tendinitis. She performs arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and shoulder stabilization surgery, cubital and carpal tunnel releases, total shoulder replacements and fracture repair. Dr. Piper prioritizes spending time listening to her patients to understand their concerns so she can provide them with individualized treatment plans. She cares deeply for her patients and strives to improve their quality of life. Dr. Piper is originally from O’Fallon, Missouri. The youngest of seven children, she was raised in values deeply rooted in faith and family. She is proud to be caring for patients in her hometown. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, playing the drums, and baking.
