Established in 1979, the Missouri Coalition of Community Mental Health Centers is a community-based organization that maintains more than 25 nonprofit community mental health centers and alcohol and drug abuse treatment agencies. Its member agencies manage a staff of more than 7,000 employees and provide treatment and support services to over 150,000 people annually. The center s member agencies offer a range of mental health care services for individuals and families. Its member agencies also provide drug and alcohol treatment and behavior modification services for adolescents and adults. The Missouri Coalition of Community Mental Health Centers member agencies additionally offer rehabilitative, community support, consultation and education service. Its member agencies are accredited and certified by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and Missouri Department of Mental Health. The Missouri Coalition of Community Mental Health Centers is located in Jefferson City, Mo.
