U-Gas owns and operates 15 gas stations and convenience stores throughout Missouri. Most of the stores sell branded Phillips 66 and Texaco gasoline, and several locations have car washes and full-service deli operations. The first U-Gas station was opened in 1977 and sold unbranded gas, automotive products, cigarettes and candy. By 1987, the company had opened 11 facilities, six of which were sold to Shell Oil that year. The sale allowed U-Gas to diversify its operations and acquire additional sites and properties. U-Gas is headquartered in Fenton, Mo.
