Mid-Missouri Energy is a provider of renewable fuel. It also deals in the production of ethanol. The company started distilling corn in early 2005 and produces around 50 million gallons of ethanol per year. A large portion of the corn supply comes from nearly 18 million local bushels. Mid-Missouri Energy is engaged in production of ethanol that farmers and their communities use. The company's renewable fuel has reduced the United States' dependence on foreign oil.
