The Ladue School District has operated an Early Childhood Learning Center out of the old Wright School since 1977. The school building dates back to 1936.
The center offers early childhood education to children ages 2 1/2 to age 5. In April, 2010, the voters of Ladue passed Proposition D to construct a new $14 million dollar center on the newly-purchased Westminster Academy school grounds in Creve Coeur. Ground was broken on July 22, 2010 and officials anticipate the opening of the new building in August, 2011.
