Located in Jefferson City, Mo., Grain Inspection & Warehousing Division is a part of the Missouri Department of Agriculture. The division harvests more than 650 million bushels of grain annually. It operates the Grain Inspection Program, which inspects grades and weighs stored grain. Grain Inspection & Warehousing Division administers the Grain Regulatory Services Program, which offers services for licensing, bonding and auditing grain warehouses and grain dealers to ensure financially sound grain markets for Missouri s farmers to store and merchandise their grain. The division provides assistance to conduct commodity check off audits to verify the collection of assessments. In addition, its the Missouri Agricultural Mediation Program provides dispute resolution services for farmers.
