Jefferson National Expansion Memorial memorializes Thomas Jefferson who directed territorial expansion of the United States. The park offers a variety of activities, such as bicycling, riverboat cruise, helicopter rides and live performances. It also offers year-round museum educational programs to students. The parks cultural resources department stores, maintains and provides reference services for the artifact, photograph, archives and library collections of the park. Jefferson National Expansion Memorial is located in St. Louis and is a part of National Park Service, which is a network of more than 400 natural, cultural and recreational sites throughout the United States. It is a bureau within the Department of the Interior.
