Established in 1960, Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation promotes education and offers grants and support programs in entrepreneurship. Located in Kansas City, Mo., the foundation offers its services throughout the United States. The foundation works with educators, researchers and nonprofit organizations. It provides funding for FastTrac, an entrepreneurship training course and KCSourceLink, a referral network that provides information and guidance about local business resources to entrepreneurs. The foundation provides grants for programs that focus on developing math, science and technology skills among youth. It also has a conference center that provides 40,000 square feet of meeting space. The foundation organizes annual seminars on entrepreneurship and education.
