Eagle Forum Education Center aims to engage people in the political process. While the center holds a politically conservative viewpoint, it welcomes people of any political persuasion. The group's stated mission is "to enable conservative and pro-family men and women to participate in the process of self-government and public policy making so that America will continue to be a land of individual liberty, respect for family integrity, public and private virtue and private enterprise."
It helps people start study groups and book clubs, and it provides assistance in setting up candidate forums, among other offerings.
Researchers may browse its archive, which contains information related to the history of the conservative movement of the 1970s and 1980s. Phyllis Schlafly started the organization and works at the Clayton office, where she is available for student interviews.
Ruth Carlson is the executive director.
