History
Dr. Danto's first clinical practice was located in the suburban Detroit, Michigan area. During Michigan's Great Recession of 2010 he transitioned to medical education as the Vice Chair of the Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Department for Western University in California to open their Oregon Campus. Soon after, Dr. Danto was invited to join A.T. Still University where he was co-director of the IM/OMM Residency Program. Later he moved to Joplin, MO to open a new campus for Kansas City University. That experience led him to Utah to help open a new school there, but then Covid hit. In the Post-Covid era, Dr. Danto decided to transition back to clinical practice in the Kansas City area. Dr. Danto's oldest daughter is attending osteopathic medical school in KC and the importance of family being together became a very strong theme for us during Covid. Additionally, Kansas City had been very good to us and we wanted to support the community to our best abilities.
