The Clayton Police Department works to maintain safety in Clayton. It employs 52 officers and four parking-control officials. It is composed of two bureaus, the field operations, which manages responses to calls for assistance, traffic regulations and community relations, and investigations and support, which includes records and administration. Clayton police have been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies. Clayton police are expected to relocate to 10 S. Brentwood Blvd. in the summer of 2012. Payments for parking tickets may be made at City Hall.
