Founded in 1954, Developmental Center of the Ozarks offers a wide range of medical and health care services to more than 650 infants, children and adults with developmental disabilities. Its rehabilitation unit provides various therapies, such as physical, occupational, speech and language. The center also offers groups and individual counseling sessions. Developmental Center of the Ozarks has an early child care and education program offering a range of activities, including language stimulation, various play activities, and motor and skill development. Its adult day center provides various social activities, such as music, games, dancing, exercises and crafts classes. The center also has programs in play and developmental therapies.
