Established in 1999, the G.W. Henderson, Sr. Recreation Center organizes various sports events, such as baseball, softball and basketball tournaments. It also sponsors summer day camps and administers cultural arts programs. The center conducts national programs for youths. The G.W. Henderson, Sr. Recreation Center provides a variety of classes and activities for individuals of all age groups. The center offers opportunities to participate in group projects. It also helps in developing skills and talents in fine arts through private lessons and classes. The center organizes talent shows, plays, concerts and recitals by guest artists and performing arts groups. It additionally offers consulting services for educational and professional goals.
