Dr. Spencer Sullivan is the President and CEO of the Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine and also serves as the Director for the Hemostasis and Thrombosis program. Dr. Sullivan received his Bachelor of Science in Applied Science and his Medical Degree (M.D.) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed a pediatric residency and a fellowship in Blood Banking and Transfusion medicine at the University of Virginia and a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). He is an active member of the American Society of Hematology and the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Research Society. His clinical interests include pediatric hemostasis and thrombosis and coagulation. Dr. Sullivan is involved in several research projects, including gene therapy for hemophilia. In his spare time, Dr. Sullivan enjoys spending time with his wife Lisa, and four daughters, Scarlett, Ashlyn, Nora and Blaire, and is an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
