Mississippi State University Athletic Department offers athletic training in various sports, such as baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field and volleyball. Its A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre, constructed in 1984, is a modern six-court, 1,000-seat center. The department offers a various stadiums, including Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field; Dudy Noble Field and Polk-DeMent Stadium and Spencer Stadium and Maddox Track. The department administers a 46,000-square foot athletic center that includes a practice locker room, equipment room, team meeting rooms, lounge, an athletic training area, and strength and conditioning facility. Its Bryan Athletic Administration Building houses its administration and football offices and athletic ticket office, the Bulldog Club, media relations, business and student services offices. The department also supervises a gymnasium, golf course, soccer field, softball field and a fieldhouse. Its office is located in Mississippi State, Miss.
