The Mississippi Division of Medicaid ensures access to health services for the general public. It administers the Cool Kids program, which includes preventive and restorative dental care, transportation assistance and therapy solutions for children up to the age of 21. The division s School-Based Administrative Claiming (SBAC) Program reimburses Mississippi public school districts enrolled in the program for health care outreach services that are not reimbursable under the School Health-Related Services Program. Its Perinatal High Risk Management/Infant Services System (PHRM/ISS) is a multidisciplinary case management program that includes services for Medicaid-eligible pregnant and postpartum women and infants. The division operates Mississippi Medicaid Medical Home (MMMH), which serves Medicaid beneficiaries with health care on a regular basis. In addition, the Mississippi Division of Medicaid offers pharmacy services.
