Mississippi Action for Community Education, Inc. (MACE) is a non-profit organization founded in 1967 by community leaders in Greenville, MS, with the aim of promoting physical, social, and economic development in the rural Mississippi Delta. Recognizing the broader issue of underdevelopment in southern, rural communities, MACE focuses on developing human and organizational capacities, as well as creating essential community structures, to facilitate genuine community development.
