Designed in 1963, this 18 hole layout, is renowned golf architect Earl Stone's first. Hickory Hill Country Club is truly a majestic beauty. Hickory Hill is situated on some of the most breathtaking terrain the Mississippi Gulf Coast has to offer. Earl Stone, an architect well known in these parts. The course has pretty much kept Stone's original blueprints in place, notwithstanding Katrina, as well as previous hurricanes like Camille and George. Stone's push-up greens are probably the most dramatic feature of the course; they must be approached with extreme caution.

Designer Earl Stone's vision of a traditional yet demanding test of golf comes to life at Hickory Hill Country Club. Water comes into play on 10 holes, demanding strict attention to shot placement and strategy. The 6,983 yard, par-72 layout is scenic enough to put a player's mind at ease, while challenging enough for even the most expert golfers. A course rating of 73.1 and a slope of 128 has enabled Hickory Hill to host numerous high profile events. The 18-hole semi-private golf course opened in 1965.
