SpecialtiesCharles Riles Funeral Home is the continuation of over four decades of professional funeral service in Vicksburg and West Central Mississippi. The beautiful new Charles Riles Funeral Home located at 5000 Indiana Avenue was dedicated in July 2002 to the memory of those who have gone before and for the comfort of those who mourn. Charles and Cecelia Hossley Riles, both third generation Vicksburgers, own and operate the funeral home. Riles was associated with Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home from 1960; owned Fisher-Riles Funeral Home until 1995 and afterwards was a consultant for the firm. He served as coroner of Warren County, Mississippi, and has been active in the civic and professional associations. Riles served as chair of the MS State Board of Funeral Services from 2001 to 2011. He is author of three books on cemeteries in Vicksburg.
