My wife and I started Dern Mechanix in August of 2009. We wanted to build a shop that was different than what was available at the time. A place that would be more concerned with the customer and there needs than how much money we could get out of them. We opened in a three bay shop but, quickly out grew it. In the spring of 2013 we moved to a nine bay shop and have since expanded to seventeen bays.
