Davis Wade Stadium is a stadium located in Starkville, Mississippi on the campus of Mississippi State University. Davis Wade Stadium currently houses the NCAA team the Mississippi State Bulldogs. The stadium opened as Scott Field in 1914. The latest renovation was in 2013, which added over 6,000 seats at a cost of $21 million.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs are members of the Southeastern Conference of the within National Collegiate Athletic Association. They are known by their team colors consisting of maroon and white. Their mascot is Bully the Bulldog. Past players include Johnie Cooks, Kevin Dockery and Joe Fortunato.
The stadium currently holds 55,082 fans. There are 50 luxury suites and over 1,700 seats at the club level. Currently, it is the 53rd largest stadium in the NCAA. The record fan attendance of 58,103 occurred on November 14, 2009 against the Alabama Crimson Tide. In terms of parking there is on-campus parking and satellite parking lots both containing general and reserved spots.
