Woodland Resort has been owned and operated by the Schmidtke family since 1966.

Specialties

Woodland Resort is located just 4 miles north of Walker on Kabekona Bay of Leech Lake, with 13 units available from May thru September. 4 campsites are available along the lake for tents and small campers. Guests enjoy the sandy beach and swimming area, playground, and miles of scenic beauty along the paved Paul Bunyan State Trail, which passes through the resort. The new lodge is open daily and offers souvenirs, snacks, pizza, grocery items, ice, bait and gas.
