History
UCP of Central Minnesota is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We serve individuals with disabilities and their families in Benton, Sherburne and Stearns counties. UCP of Central Minnesota is supported by contributions from individuals, corporations, special events and United Way. Approximately 90% of monies we receive helps to provide local programs and services. Our programs and services include: Information & Referral; Financial Assistance for equipment; Public Education; Assistive Technology; and Scholarships for post-secondary education. The balance goes to support research and national programs through United Cerebral Palsy National. We are one of more than 100 affiliates of UCP nationwide. UCP consistently ranks among the top five health care organizations for greatest percentage of funds going directly to programs and services.
