If you are in the Albert Lea, Minnesota area and looking for a great burger, keep an eye out for a tiny yellow building on the corner of East 8th Street and James Ave, just off SE Broadway Ave with a red neon sign that reads, “The ELBOW ROOM.” Don’t let the small exterior fool you. From the outside, you would never know that you can get one of the best burgers in all of Albert Lea and it was built in 1949! Aside from the food, this place is everything you could want in a hometown restaurant; wood panel walls and bar, worn-in bucket seats, Formica tables, open-air classic grill, and of course, bottled beer and cans of pop.
