Established in 1969, The Children's Center provides a variety of child care services that includes individual development and educational programs. It serves more than 400 children throughout Minnesota. The center s educational curriculum includes reading, writing, health education, science, language arts, and art and craft. It additionally offers classes on topics related to dramatics, construction play, recording, table toys, numerical problems, nutrition, computer applications and literature. The center also provides language, speaking and cognitive development programs. In addition, it organizes various social and outdoor activities, such as puzzles and manipulative. The center conducts several parent-teacher conferences that serve as a resource for students, parents and staff members. The Children's Center provides breakfast and lunch programs for its children.
