History
St. Paul Federal Credit Union, formerly known as I.B.E.W. 110 Federal Credit Union, was originally chartered in November 1953 by a group of St. Paul Electricians to serve the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 110. In 1987 the credit union converted to federal charter and added the family members of its electricians to its field of membership. At the urging of our Federal Regulator to help serve our neighborhood, the City of St. Paul was added to our field of membership in 2004. This was done to help give our community more choices for their financial service. In August of 2005, our name was changed to St. Paul Federal Credit Union to reflect our commitment to serving the needs of our St. Paul electricians and our neighbors. In 2007 we opened another branch office in the Hillcrest Shopping Center located on White Bear Avenue, St. Paul, MN. In November of 2008, St. Paul Federal merged with Capital Trust Federal Credit Union.
