Built in 1867 by the Southern Minnesota Railroad, the Rushford Depot is MN's oldest 2-story railroad station remaining on its original site. The Rushford Area Historical Society was formed in 1985 to buy and restore the building to house Rushford's history for future generations. Here you will also find the town's Visitors Center and trailhead facilities for the Root River State Bike Trail.
