The Moravian Church traces its origins to ancient Bohemia and Moravia, presently the Czech Republic. Established in 1457, the Moravian Church is the oldest Protestant church to be organized. The church's motto is: "In essentials, unity; in nonessentials, liberty; and in all things, love."
