Brain Injury Association of Minnesota is a nonprofit association serving the needs of more than 90,000 Minnesotans suffering with brain injury. The association offers various programs in resource facilitation, case management, multicultural outreach, education, public awareness, public policy advocacy and volunteering. Its case management program assists consumers on traumatic brain injury waivers and community alternative for disabled individuals waivers, as well as provides relocation service coordination within contracted counties. The association offers various consumer education and professional development programs, including the annual two-day educational conference, monthly meetings of the Brain Injury Community Committee, family retreat, and bimonthly workshops involving people with brain injuries and their families. The Brain Injury Association of Minnesota is a member of Community Health Charities, and is headquartered in Minneapolis.
