The Minneapolis Department of Health and Family Support works to ensure that all families are healthy and that they fully share in the social and economic opportunities of the city of Minneapolis. The Department serves residents by working in partnership with community organizations, other units of government, schools and health and human service agencies. To address the needs of city residents, the Minneapolis Department of Health and Family Support provides a broad range of services in four key areas, through direct services and through contracts and partnerships with community organizations: neighborhood services, public health initiatives, research and policy and advocacy.
