Michelle J. Clarke, M.D., is a neurosurgeon at Mayo Clinic's Rochester, Minnesota campus, specializing in complex spine surgery and spinal oncology. Dr. Clarke's clinical practice treats spine tumors, including: primary and metastatic tumors, spinal cord tumors, spinal vascular lesions, and associated complex reconstruction. She is also an expert in degenerative spine disease, including spinal stenosis, degenerative scoliosis, and other degenerative conditions. She performs brain tumor surgery, Chiari malformation surgery, spinal fusion, and spine tumor surgery. Dr. Clarke works closely with her patients and promotes each patient's understanding of his or her disease and determining the best course of action, including directing him or her to appropriate nonsurgical management.
