HistoryLake Country Associates (LCA) was founded in 2009 by Jean Greseth and Shawn Anderson with the goal of providing a stable, locally-based mental health provider in the Park Rapids community. In 2016, Lake Country Associates opened it's Bemidji office with goal of providing the same, high-quality services to the Bemidji community. LCA's goal was and continues to focus on being responsive to the needs of the clients we serve, the community we live in, and to the staff we employ.SpecialtiesIndividual, group and couples counseling for all ages in Park Rapids MN, Bemidji MN and surrounding communities. Lake Country Associates provides therapy and parenting support for families. We are certified to provide Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) in Hubbard, Wadena, Becker and Cass counties. We have staff that specialize in Play Therapy with children, Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and work with people experiencing trauma.
