Jasper Map
Jasper is a city in Pipestone and Rock counties in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The population was 633 at the 2010 census. Most of the city lies in Pipestone County, with only a small part of the city extending into Rock County. Jasper is named for a type of quartz rock found nearby.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.9 square miles (2.3 km²), all of it land.
Minnesota State Highways 23 and 269 are two of the main routes in the community.
