In operation since 1899, The Gideons International is one of the oldest organizations of Christian businessmen and professionals in the world. Located in Rochester, Minn., the organization works with Protestant and evangelical churches. It prints as well as distributes the Bibles and New Testaments in more than 90 languages across 190 countries. The Gideons International also provides the Bibles and New Testaments to fifth-grade students, prisoners as well as police, fire, medical and military personnel.
