The Fridley School District consists of a community center, an area learning center and elementary, middle and high schools. The district has an enrollment of more than 2,500 students in grades kindergarten through 12. It offers a college-preparatory curriculum and advanced placement courses in English, mathematics, science, social studies, reading and writing, computer science and physical education. The district offers special education and enrichment programs for children, senior citizens and students with learning disabilities. It organizes a variety of youth programs and community group activities. The amenities offered by the district include library with Internet access, gymnasium, media center, study halls and playing fields. It also provides a variety of sports activities to students, including cross country, football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, golf, soccer, tennis, track and field, baseball and softball. The Fridley School District has its administrative office located in Minneapolis.
