Evergreen Industries is a leading producer of natural evergreen wreaths, garlands, swags and specialty products. The company markets its products to fundraising groups, corporations for holiday gift giving and to individuals through its online retail store. Evergreen s employs more than 1,000 seasonal employees to do bough harvesting after successive hard frosts in late September or early October each fall. The raw materials used in the company s natural products are cut from federal and state lands, privately owned properties and land ceded to Native Americans. Founded in 1977, Evergreen Industries is headquartered in Inner Grove Heights, Minn. The company operates from additional plants in Cass Lake, Deer River, Pengilly, Aurora and Eimore, Minn., which comprise approximately 100,000 square feet of production and refrigerated storage space.
