St. Paul Central High School serves more than 2,115 students in grades 9 through 12. A National Blue Ribbon School, it is one of the oldest educational facilities in Minnesota. The school conducts classes in English, social studies, math, science and physical education. St. Paul Central High School provides several sports activities, such as tennis, football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, badminton, cross-country, and track and field. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including theater and jazz band. The school operates a library and counseling department. St. Paul Central High School provides gifted and talented education programs. It is a part of Saint Paul Public Schools.
