Elmore Map
Elmore is a city in Faribault County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 663 at the 2010 census. Elmore was the boyhood home of former vice president and presidential candidate Walter F. Mondale. The city motto was once "Not a Bad Border Town," and was changed to the current "A Great Border Town".
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.9 square miles (2.3 km²), all of it land.
U.S. Highway 169 serves as a main route in the community.
