Christ the King Church has an invitingly warm stone structure amidst a residential neighborhood in South Minneapolis. The church, established in 1938, has services throughout the week and an active religious education program for all ages. Its music program offers youth and adult choirs, First Sunday Singers, a bell choir and instrumental opportunities. Outreach is provided in areas of social justice, Loaves & Fishes, prayer shawl ministry, Meals on Wheels, temporary overnight housing, Habitat for Humanity and other programs assisting those in need.
