Founded in 1911, Cotter High School is a Catholic school that serves students in grades 9 through 12. It offers academic programs in English, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education. The school additionally has world language, religious studies, and visual and performing arts departments. Cotter High School has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, such as cross country, soccer, swimming, tennis, volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, hockey, wrestling, golf, softball and track and field. It supports several clubs and organizations that include the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and student council, as well as jazz band, choir and yearbook clubs. The school is located in Winona, Minn., and is a part of Cotter Schools.
