The Dekker Huis Museum showcases the history of Zeeland and its surrounding communities. The museum is housed in a historic 1876 home with additional gallery spaces, a barn, and an interurban station. Visitors will enjoy touring the historic home, the recreated 1920s bank and grocery store, the Main Street display, and more. With a collection of over 20,000 artifacts, there is so much to explore! The museum also features various rotating exhibits to offer something new each year. Also housed in the museum is the Zeeland Welcome Center, providing visitors with guides, event schedules, and self-guided tours of the city. Check out our new exhibit, "Cultivating West Michigan," open from June 2024 through February 2025. Celebrate the history of agriculture in West Michigan at the Dekker Huis Museum!
