On Nov. 13, 2004, Avalon-Tahoe launched a stock luxury pontoon in Baltimore. The boat sailed along the East Coast, arriving in Key West, Fla., four days later. Avalon-Tahoe manufactures two lines of pontoon boats. The Avalon line contains three categories: the unique elite level models, the modern top-of-the-line models and the traditional top-of-the-line models. All boats in the Avalon lines have seats made out of 50-gauge vinyl, which is heavier than conventional seat coverings. The Tahoe line also contains three levels: the traditional premium models, the most popular premium models and the family luxury entertainment models. Tahoe also manufactures special edition models, such as the compact economy boat, the full size economy pontoon, best-value fully equipped model and the modern style fully equipped boat. The Avalon-Tahoe boat family has been manufacturing pontoons for more than 30 years.
