Founded in 1957, Wilson Elementary is an institute that serves more than 200 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school serves students from Green and Wilson townships in Alpena County in Michigan. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as reading, writing, math and science. Wilson Elementary also organizes family chess nights. It is one of the educational facilities managed by Alpena Public Schools, which serves over 4,400 students in elementary, junior and high schools. Alpena Public Schools offers opportunities to participate in a selection of athletic activities, such as cheerleading, basketball, football, bowling, baseball, and track and field.
