History
Viviano Flower Shop was founded by Frank P. Viviano in Detroit, where our main store was located until 1962. In 1944, he acquired one of two U-shaped, domed greenhouses located on the Emery L. Ford estate in Grosse Pointe, and reassembled it on property located on Harper Avenue, near Masonic, in St. Clair Shores. Today, this distinctive building is the retail area for flowers, plants and gifts. In 1976, Frank Viviano, Jr. and his wife, Marianne, became the owners of Viviano Flower Shop and commenced expanding the business. They were later joined by their sons, who continue to manage a talented and professional staff that has steadily grown to more than 150 people, including other family members. We are delighted and thankful when people tell us their families and businesses have been patrons for years. We appreciate their confidence in us and in our work; your trust encourages us to continue and improve upon our good traditions.
