More than a tavern, Sharkey's is a place families stop for lunch and golfers meet meet after a round of golf at West River Golf and Country Club, with which it shares a building.

Fridays and Saturday evenings feature live bands, DJs and karaoke. Signature dishes include the all-you-can-eat fish fry, available every day, and the walleye chowder. Executive chef Brian Sharkey, a Grosse Ile High School graduate, sponsors local junior athletics and events for alumni following local football games.
